Dr. Nancy WilliamsDr. Williams was appointed to the NSTEP program in 2001 as the program coordinator for Tennessee and Arkansas. Additionally in 2001, she received the ADHA Presidential Citation for her work in tobacco use cessation. She has a B.S. in Dental Hygiene from University of Tennessee, Memphis; a Master's degree in Community Health from University of Memphis; and a Doctorate in Higher Education from University of Memphis. Dr. Williams has given numerous presentations on the topic "How to Help Your Patients Be Tobacco Free," for organizations such as American Cancer Society, American Dental Hygienist Association, American Dental Education Association, and American Association for Dental Research. Dr. Williams is a professor at the University of Tennessee, where she serves the Health Science Center, Department of Dental Hygiene, and is Co-Director of the University's Nicotine Dependence Program.
